Comerica Bank is Hiring an Application Support Manager Near Livonia, MI
The Production Support Manager is responsible for leading the team and activities associated with the deployment and support of applications utilized by Comerica to conduct banking operations. This is achieved through aligning resources and team activities to develop effective application requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, provide operational support, continually improve processes, and manage large, medium, and small-scale projects.
- Lead the implementation support teams (approximately 8-12 colleagues) responsible for providing business requirements, test script development, test script execution, issue management, risk management aspects of system deployment, and incident management.
- Manage departmental resources for enterprise-wide support. This includes:
- Providing input for and managing the departmental budget.
- HR management for assigned resources.
- Developing and clearly articulating departmental goals to team members.
- Participate in evaluating and providing recommendations on how to best utilize application(s) and/or its features.
- Manage the implementation of system enhancement initiatives for various applications.
- Develop and maintain alliances with clients, IS resources, vendors and others throughout the corporation.
- Foster a culture of continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Assign resources necessary to conduct requirements development, testing, implementation, and incident management.
- Review new technologies for fit with department or bank needs.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 10 years of related Production Support experience
- 8 years of management experience
- 5 years of experience identifying risk issues
- 5 years of experience managing a budget and delivering cost savings opportunities
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
